From a BHBPA Event to Responsible Business
My journey to joining the Organisation for Responsible Businesses (ORB) began at a Burgess Hill Business Parks Association event: Ethics in Business. I heard the wonderful Clive Bonny speak about what responsible business looks like in practice. His message about ethical leadership, transparency and long-term thinking immediately resonated with me.

Through my company, Wellbeing & Ease Ltd, I work with organisations and leaders to reduce workplace stress and improve wellbeing. In this work, I see how leadership decisions, communication and workplace culture directly affect people’s health, morale and performance.
| The principles Clive described were already closely aligned with how I approach my work. Responsible business is not simply about policies or reputation. It is about how organisations treat people day to day and the wider impact they create.
That BHBPA event prompted me to explore ORB further and joining felt like a natural step. ORB values mirror what I believe good leadership should look like: ethical, people-centred and focused on long-term impact.
In my work on workplace stress, I often see that responsible leadership and wellbeing go hand in hand. As a small business owner, it is encouraging to be part of a community that believes business success and responsible practice should work together. I am grateful that a BHBPA event sparked the connection that led me to ORB. |
